Pied à Terre was established in 1991, operating under the guidance of David Moore with Shane Osborn joining as co-owner and head chef in 1999.

The restaurant has gained some of the highest awards and accolades possible, starting with its first Michelin star in 1993 before becoming a two Michelin star restaurant in 1996.

Features

Developed in PHP. The site features a background image slideshow, custom fonts for headings using Cufon, a custom-made video player in AS3, online gallery in JQuery, which makes use of XML for titles and long descriptions. Compressed Javascript and CSS, advanced Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Amazingly though, it works in IE6+!
